Craft brewing has been a passionate sideline for Freycinet winemaker Claudio Radenti and partner Lindy Bull for more than a decade. Hazards Ale was originally brewed at the St Ives brew-pub in Hobart; currently it’s being produced by Australian Independent Breweries in Sydney using Tasmanian grown malted barley and hops. The beer’s spiritual home is undoubtedly the Hazards Bar at Freycinet Lodge where you can enjoy this fruity, amber ale while gazing at the pink-tinged Hazards rock formation opposite.
