Who are Magic Rock? Nestled in the industrial Pennine town of Huddersfield lies one the UK’s most exciting and modern craft breweries. Consistently up there on the rating sites, Magic Rock have brought US inspired beers to the heart of Yorkshire’s brewing tradition. An ambitious brewery, this year has been big for them picking up a Gold for Salty Kiss in the prestigious Beer World Cup. They also joined a growing number of UK breweries represented at the Mikkeller run Copenhagen Beer Celebration, an invite for any brewery to celebrate receiving. Why we invited Magic Rock… They are one of the most exciting and consistently superb breweries in the country. This year’s Un-human Cannonball, a continuation of their Cannonball IPAs, was something to behold. Last year they sent down their hallucinogenic six-shooter of a festival bar to LCBF 13, head brewer Stuart painted his beard blue and red and they served up an amazing array of beers, including Beer World Cup winner, Salty Kiss. This year, expect Yorkshire’s finest to craft flavour and fun into some of the best beer you’ll try this summer.
