Beer Farmer, Lachlan Macbean agricultural school graduate, aims to bring the four components of a healthy lifestyle, water, grains, hops, and yeast together in a glass of fermented liquid delight. Currently brewing the beer on contract, Lachlan looks forward to the day all his brewing will be done on his own system. Lachlan has 5 years of professional brewing experience, and over 20 years of homebrewing research and development up his sleeve, and he always tells people it is a craft that must be practised and mastered. He has completed a Graduate Certificate in Brewing at the University of Ballarat, but Lachlan will assure you, the learning is life long, every brew brings new knowledge, experience and passion. Lachlan is an International Beer Judge having been invited to judge at the World Beer Cup in San Diego in 2012, the New Zealand International Beer Awards from 2009-2012, and the Australian International Beer Awards 2009/10. Lachlan was awarded the Young Brewer of the Year Award at the Australasian Brewers and Distillers Guild Meeting in 2006.
