Brauhaus Niederlauer
Brauhaus Niederlauer
2006
For several years, the married couple Federlein brewed their beer at home in their cooking pots. Just as a hobby, for fun. In their small Lower Franconian village of Niederlauer there still existed the house of an old brewery, built in 1880, but not used since the 1980s. Family Federlein of course knew about it, but just hadn't thought much about it. Some day however, a chummy master brewer wanted to visit that old brewery. And as it happened, once the Federlein's got the key and entered the old building, they knew: The brewery has to get used again! Since 2006 beer is getting brewed again in the brewery in Niederlauer. Just one beer. Just five times a year. Just 18 hectoliter per brew. A true microbrewery. But the enthusiasts work hard for it.
