Situated in the village of Hombourg in the "Pays D'Herve" (prov. Liege) Belgium , the « Brasserie du Grain d’Orge » was established in 1997 by owners Viviane and Benoît Johnen. It grew from a micro-brewery to become a small artisanal brewery specialised in exclusive top fermentation beers. They have a dozen regular brews commercialised under their own name and brew regularly of third parties beers according to the customers recipe. They also sell their regular brews as relabelled beers for events or organsiations Once named Brasserie Jeanne D'Arc, this Brewery had changed their name due to change in management.
