We both grew up in California but after many years of living in the suburbs, fighting traffic and working in the corporate environment we yearned for a connection with the land. Moving our family to Oregon was a natural choice. We found the most beautiful apple orchard in the Applegate and absolutely fell in love with it. Knowing nothing about orcharding we had our work cut out for us. We had to learn quickly and made plenty of mistakes along the way. Five years later we brought a cider press and all the related equipment to the orchard and began producing our own sweet (non-alcoholic) cider.
