The beer factory is a microbrewery founded by Martin Larsen and Christian Skovdal Andersen. The brewery was originally located in Holløselund near Tisvildeleje in North Zealand , but in 2007 the brewery entered into a partnership with the Gourmet Brewery, which resulted in the Beer Factory taking over the GourmetBryggeri's production address in Roskilde . The brewery is known for beer, which is very powerful. This is achieved by the use of large amounts of hops, which provide both very bitter and very aromatic beers. The beer is also unfiltered and unpasteurized.
