Founded by homebrewer Pete Slosberg and Mark Bronder in 1986, helping to pioneer the craft beer movement. Exclusively brewed under contract by Matt Brewing Company of Utica, NY, best known for their Saranac line. Sold to the Gambrinus Company in 1998. Sadly, ceased production in spring 2011 after declining sales under Gambrinus ownership.
