Celis brand was established in 1992 in Austin, Texas by the world-famous Belgian brewer Pierre Celis. Pierre Celis is known for reviving the 400-year old Belgian witbier into the brand Hoegaarden. After moving to America, Celis further developed his original recipes of White and other Belgian style beers for the American market. The Celis brand was a great success in the emerging craft beer scene in the USA and it became a renowned craft beer brand with regional dominance in Texas.
