We are proud to be a privately owned, genuinely independent free house in Bury and certainly the only brew pub in Suffolk where you can actually see beer in the making on a regular basis. Beers are made on the premises using East Anglian grown and ma The Brewery does not specifically cater for young children and under 14s are not allowed in the bar at any time - however, at the manager's discretion, family groups are welcome to lunch together on Saturdays and Sundays. Dogs are always welcome in the beer garden but only in the bar on a Sunday evening. The Old Cannon, including the Brewery Rooms, is smoke-free. We have a designated smoking area with a heated umbrella in the beer garden.
