The Moon Dog brewery is as hand-crafted as the delicious beer it produces. A good chunk of the brewing gear was cobbled together from second-hand farming and dairy equipment. The brewhouse is a four vessel 13hL electric system (hot liquor, mash/lauter kettle and whirlpool). The beautiful and shiny fermentation system is comprised of an ever-growing farm of cylindro-conical tanks. There is a wall of barrels, a painting of "The Big Man" - John Candy, many many chandeliers, a pink elephant (actually, maybe a few..), and most of all a whole lota love. It has been described by one observer as the “oddest brewery” he's ever seen. We like to call it home.
