The concept for Black Couch Brewery was developed in late 2008 by three close friends, William Cook, Travis Morgan, and Dave Svec. After sampling one of the earliest batches of our flagship product, American Homecoming Pale Ale, we realized very quickly that it tasted better than even the most popular beer brands available in the regional marketplace. We were sure that others would enjoy our beer, and the positive responses from tasters everywhere have reinforced our belief in the quality and taste. We are committed to developing unique and flavorful beers, using the finest ingredients available. We are currently in the planning stages of the brewery and hope to have it up and running in the Washington D.C. area in late 2010 or early 2011.
