Our name, Lake Effect, is inspired by the weather phenomenon we experience on the Great Lakes, most famous for creating legendary snow storms. The lake effect also produces longer growing seasons that yield some of the highest-quality grains, fruits and vegetables in the world. Most importantly, our central ingredient – the water – is from our great lake.
