The Wernesgrüner brewery can look back on a very long history: in 1436, the brothers Schorer were granted the right to brew and serve beer in the village of Wernesgrün in the state of Saxony. Today, the Wernesgrüner Pils Legende brand is one of the most popular Pilsener beers in Germany.
