Trailhead Brewery is a 1-2 barrel nanobrewery where people can come enjoy locally made microbrews, chat directly with the brewmaster, and become involved in the overall experience of an ever evolving variety of craft brewed beers. The brewmaster at Trailhead Brewery, Eli Smart, imparts different elements of his cultural experiences in this newly opened Akron, Ohio nanobrewery. Through growing up in Hawaii and living in Colorado, this Ohio State University graduate creates beautiful tasting beers in a relaxed atmosphere in the tradition of Colorado's "taste and tour" microbrew scene. Trailhead Brewery is aptly named for being located on the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath and Sand Run trails. The style and taste of beers also invites guests to be taken away to other famous trails around the United States and are named to invoke those images. This is Akron's place to go for exciting new beer tasting, for trailblazers, beer lovers, and novices alike.
