Positioned right off NDSU campus in Fargo, Herd & Horns is a Bison themed restaurant and bar that isn’t just for Bison sports fans. Designed to mimic the NDSU campus, it is a place for alumni, current students, enthusiasts and Northside residents to experience. No matter where you’re seated, one of the many strategically positioned televisions will allow you to watch your sport of choice in a comfortable atmosphere.
Herd & Horns isn’t your average campus bar and grill. It doesn’t have neon signs or framed jerseys. It brings you into the game without the clutter and is decorated with reclaimed wood and brick wall accents. It aims to be a modern hangout that anyone can enjoy.
The menu is focused around an array of burgers, mac and cheese and appetizers all made with high-quality ingredients at a reasonable price. Even though Herd & Horns has a large tap-selection it is also open to the under 21 crowd and is family friendly.
The Bison Information Network, NDSU’s student-run production network, produces sportscasts in an in house radio broadcast booth located in one corner of the restaurant. Daytime Parking is limited, catering mostly to NDSU faculty and students over lunch hour, but a large parking lot opens up at 4:30pm and every weekend behind the building allowing for it to become a full-scale restaurant.
