Michael Duggan is Canada’s most award-winning brewmaster over the last 15 years. As a veteran of the beer and hospitality industry with over 30 years of experience under his belt, he has built and expanded dozens of breweries worldwide and his beers can be found on LCBO shelves throughout Ontario. Michael was the founder, president and brewmaster of Mill Street Brewery up until 2007 and owner and brewmaster of Duggan’s Brewery on Victoria St. in Toronto until 2011. Since then, Michael has worked in partnership with Ontario farmers, hop growers and brewers to create the Ontario Beer Company, which provides the province with the only 100% locally sourced beers (with all ingredients grown and produced in Ontario). Duggan’s Brewery Parkdale is the most recent project on his long list of accolades, where he will continue to produce some of Ontario’s best craft beers, like the No. 9 IPA and create small batches of specialty beer, only sold in house and through the retail shop located on site. Michael’s vision for Duggan’s Brewery Parkdale is to make great quality, Ontario produced and locally driven food and beer.
